In this teaching we come to the darkest day in the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. Hours earlier, Jesus told His rivals, “This is your hour, and the power of darkness” (Luke 22:53). NOW that hour had arrived! Daylight vanished, heaven seemed silent, and death drew near. What was God accomplishing behind the darkness?
